Metal Sonic is a recurring antagonist in the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series, created by Sega. He is an evil robot duplicate of Sonic the Hedgehog, built by Dr. Eggman to surpass Sonic in speed and power.

Metal Sonic's primary objective is to destroy Sonic and aid Dr. Eggman in his quest for world domination. He often appears as a formidable opponent, exhibiting similar abilities to Sonic, but with enhanced robotic strength and speed.

His first appearance was in Sonic the Hedgehog CD, released in 1993. He is often identified by his sleek metallic design and his designation as model KF6123.
